Preface_Across from 125th Street in Harlem
Just West of Harlem.
Across the Hudson, just 4 miles west of 125th Street in Harlem, is a place of cement and bricks. It is situated on a cliff above high above the filthy river, and it is a lofty place to see the world. A series of stories came out of this place. I found them in the attic on Grove Avenue.
Make a pot of tea, or better yet, pop a cork on some old red grape.
